Since the birth of technically human have been intrigued by they ability of their device. Be able to cal to later upgrading to talk or text to advancing to checking your email on the go to the growth out social platform we used to keep in touch with distant love ones to explore the web and so on. We have unlock all these abilities of our devices. The more we thought pushed for advances the more we go which was great but we seem to have gotten lost in all of the specs. Devices we once used to help or ease our basic need in society has now become the thing we feel to need the most. We have gotten so detach from reality and attached to the virtual world that we’ve forgotten how to do things that were once easy for some of us to do. Being about to socialize how now become a challenge for us. Communication and meeting new people it so weird for some. People will see you in a social setting or any where else and see if they can look you up online to be friend you instead of going up to you ask getting to know you. Another scenario , instead of asking for your number people ask for these social platforms so they can get a glimpse of your life. These technological advances have been great in many ways but we tend to neglect the fact that just like everything in life it has its downs. I know most if not all of you have heard too much of something is not good. Starring at a screen for hours has taken something from us that we can not get back, time. We have to be mindful of the way we spend our time. Time is not something anyone one can buy. Not even the wealthiest person can afford to purchase it so it’s time to spend our time wisely and limit our screen time. Reducing the time send will help us tremendously in so many ways. If we can eliminate screen time we should definitely reduce it. Socially you’ll see a change with the way we relearn how to communicate with each other in the real world. We will become less shallow since there’s no filter to hide behind. In the real world we just a raw clear view on how a human being looks. We will hopefully accept the fact that we’ll all different and that is what make humanity beautiful. Socially is not the only change we’ll notice. Physical you’ll feel different. Believe me when I say that the weight you’ve been feeling will feel so much lighter. Or maybe you were not aware of the weight until the disconnect and now that feeling of relief will put you at ease. You’ll definitely have more energy now that you’re not staying up late on your phone. Being up to actually experience that world in real life it’s so much better than scrolling through a screen and watching others do it. Are those focus who you watch travel or they actually soaking in the experience or are they just posing for a picture and moving along. I think that most are doing just that. Some folks are so caught up with keeping the virtual world up to date with their “glamorous lifestyle” that they tend to neglect the point of explore the world. Being present in the moment is a raw and beautiful experience. It bring so much happiness and tranquility. It’ll bring peace and comfort to you. Mindfulness is so important to maintain a strong mind. You much feel, smell and touch the experience which is something you can not do through the screen. The fact that some of use can’t use the bathroom or sleep without taking out devices with us is sad. We have become a social that hooked on pixels. We speak on so many additions that’s are out there like drugs, food, gambling etc but no one has ever categorized electronic devices as one. We have disconnected from the reality but I think is time to disconnect from the virtual world and start living a life worth living. I life that touch can actually experience.
